That time my besties and I live-streamed panels on race, power, and gender.
My besties and I were out to change the world; this time with a panel series to help our community ask questions, learn and unlearn. In the wake of the Pulse aftermath, these panels had a special significance at the time. I moderated/facilitated/hosted, and many of the panel participants went on to do great things (including now Florida District 42 Representative Anna Eskamani.)
That time I was a poster designer. .
I spent countless hours on YouTube (shout out Chris Do) learning how to make things look good (and I’ve got the carpal tunnel to prove it!)
